Doumbek,pro Egyptian style,made in Turkey of spun Aluminum and embossed by hand.The spun Aluminum is lighter than the cast aluminum drums and gives it a little lighter,mellower sound.

Beautiful range of sounds from deep doum to high teks.

Many times I use it as a "high" drum in combination with A0810 Darbuka.

The Doumbek is a goblet-shaped hand drum from Israel. The name "Doumbek" is also used for a family of similar shaped drums, common throughout the Middle East.
