Wind gong 40", w/mallet and Iron Stand

This gong is traditionally chines instrument.Made of many kinds of metal heated and hand hammered and stretched to it's specific size and shape for certain sound quality.Then ,put on an old simple lathe for leveling and hand hammered again.

Traditionally called Feng Luo which translated to "Wind Gong"

Striking close to center creates a very deep note and many many overtones .While gently striking closer to the edge,it stimulates and accumulates the vibrational energy that could sound like a soft wind and can grow into a very wild "storm"...
