Gong from Java.This one is newer hand made of tin of all kinds:I brought it from Java and was told they used recycle tin from cans,garbage cans that are hand hammered and welded to this shape.

This gong is 21" diameter x approx 8" deep.Has a very deep sound and dissipates very quick-designed that way so it works with traditional gamelan music.Beautiful,hand carved frame approx. 32"x10"x35" tall,  with "old" dark red and " gold" dragons.

Sounds deep and haunting and looks beautiful...
